Who is this course designed for?
This course would suit anyone working in lending or mortgage
broking and wants to better understand the legal and compliance
areas.
Not everyone wants to complete a full qualification, such as the
Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking). So
this course is ideally suited for administrative staff who aren't
involved in direct customer contact.
If you complete this course you will receive exemption from
Module 2 in the Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage
Broking) qualification.
What areas does this course cover?
- Module 1 covers the Uniform Consumer Credit Code and how it
applies to mortgage broking
- Module 2 covers the Privacy Act and how it applies to mortgage
broking
- Module 3 covers Consumer Protection Law, Anti-Discrimination
