This clustered unit is made up of the following units:
TAAASS401A: Plan and organise assessment. This unit specifies the competence required to plan and organise the assessment process in a competency-based assessment system and covers the following elements:
*Element 1: Determine the focus of assessment
*Element 2: Prepare the assessment plan
*Element 3: Contextualise and review assessment plan
*Element 4: Organise assessment arrangements.

TAAASS402A: Assessment competence. This unit specifies the competence required to assess the competence of a candidate and covers the following elements:
*Element 1: Establish and maintain the assessment environment
*Element 2: Gather quality evidence
*Element 3: Support the candidate
*Element 4: Make the assessment decision
*Element 5: Record and report the assessment decision
*Element 6: Review the assessment process

All of the tasks in this unit will contribute towards a major project. In addition you will need to collate an evidence portfolio including the following (for each assessment conducted):
• assessment contract (signed)
• the final assessment plan
• any assessment instruments/materials used
• the evidence plan (signed)
• the evidence collection planner (signed)
• assessment record
• evaluation forms
• any additional evidence/tools
• an audio/video demonstration of your assessment with each of the individuals. This is expected to be at least 5 minutes in duration

This course is open for enrolment
