Any workplace can be a creative and innovative place. However, organisations do not always make the most of the diverse talents of their employees. Ideas for change in the workplace may come from anywhere. As a frontline manager you can be a conduit for encouraging and developing ideas, enabling them to come into practice and/or transmitting the ideas to the right people to make things happen.
When you have finished studying this unit, you will have gained the skills and knowledge to promote the use and implementation of innovative work practices to effect change.
