Evaluation
|
Archer College asks that you complete the online evaluation
shortly after finishing your course in order to have your
Certificate issued. We appreciate your feedback.
|
| Extensions |
Extensions will be available for all
courses by completing an extension application form. Extensions
will (in most cases) be for the same amount of time as the initial
course duration for that course/unit. At the end of the extended
time students will be provided with a Statement of Attainment
detailing all units/courses successfully completed. Students then
have the option for re-enrolment.
When re-enrolling, the student will be
granted a credit transfer for any units/modules that have been
successfully completed. The fee to be paid for re-enrolment will be
dependant on how much of the course has been previously completed
and therefore will be on an individual basis.

| Flexible learning and assessment |
Archer College is committed to maximising the flexibility of
learning means in all of our courses. We therefore allow as much as
is practicable for the adoption in all of our courses of a range of
learning strategies that are suitable to the many learning
environments in which participants may find themselves. Our desire
is to cater for differences in learning styles, learning interests
and needs by maximising variations in learning opportunities. For
this reason we offer many of our courses in a variety of modes
including online, self-paced, interactive, face to face and blends
of these approaches. Organisations or participants wishing to take
further advantage of our commitment to flexible learning might
apply for further customisation of their programs. Please note
however, that this will require the negotiation of further
charges.

| Language, literacy and numeracy |
Whilst the very fact that you can access and use this website
indicates that you most likely have the language and literacy
skills needed to complete any of our courses, you may feel the need
to improve in this area.
To identify your own learning styles please click here.
Archer College recommends that you determine your own style and
contact Archer College if you have any concerns about your
suitability for E-learning.
At present Archer College does not offer courses to help you in
this area. We are more than willing, however, to refer
you to a provider who will be able to help you. To access
this service simply contact the College to discuss your needs.
Please also note that the College may require candidates to
undergo a language, literacy and numeracy assessment. Depending on
how we may become aware of your need, this may be prior to
enrolment or during the time of enrolment. Should you choose to
follow any such recommendation such assessments will be at your
expense. Please note that successful enrolment may depend on the
outcome of such assessments.
If you speak English as a second language you may be aware of
the IELTS system. An IELTS score of 6 is considered
sufficient for the sort of courses we offer.
If you have any concerns about your own ability to participate
in an online course, please discuss this with an Archer College
Learning Consultant prior to enrolment.
